1 Corinthians 3:22 S.O.A.P.

Scripture
1 Corinthians 3:22
Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;
Observation
Paul ends the chapter with an answer to petty disputes among believers about which leader they follow, or which minister they were baptized by. Interestingly, instead of saying that they belong to ONE of the ministers, he states that the ALL ministers (along with the universe, the future, the past, etc) belong to them.
Action/Application
Centuries later we have a similar issue. The followers of a particular doctrine and members of a particular church painstakingly cling to their denomination, their favorite TV evangelist, or even their local church. Paul is telling us that ALL belong to us. We need not to associate only with a particular group of Christians, but that we are members of the body of Christ.
Prayer
Lord, help me to walk in the reality that you have made me a gift to the body of Christ and open my eyes to all that you have for me, whether by being a blessing to or by being blessed by others in or outside my current circle.

What is it in you that is worldly?
